Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, reservation changes, failed pickups, promotional quotes, and service-related charges are handled for PEC Boat & RV Storage.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to reservations, payments, pickup, drop-off, intake, storage, service work, winterization, shrink wrap, spring return, and related services provided by PEC Boat & RV Storage.
PEC Boat & RV Storage is a registered Ontario business name serving Prince Edward County, Ontario.
By completing checkout, making a payment, scheduling pickup or drop-off, or using our services, you agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. Quick Summary
Reservations may be cancelled for a full refund within 24 hours of payment, provided no pickup, drop-off appointment, intake, service work, storage space allocation, administrative processing, or material allocation has begun.
After 24 hours, cancellations before pickup, drop-off, or intake may be partially refundable at PEC Boat & RV Storage’s discretion.
Once a unit has been picked up, dropped off, checked in, serviced, stored, or otherwise processed, the seasonal reservation is non-refundable.
Optional service work, winterization, oil service, shrink wrap, and materials are non-refundable once work has started or materials have been allocated.
2. 24-Hour Cancellation Window
Reservations may be cancelled for a full refund within 24 hours of payment, provided no pickup, drop-off appointment, intake, storage space allocation, administrative processing, service work, or material allocation has begun.
The 24-hour cancellation window is intended to allow customers to correct an accidental booking or change their mind shortly after checkout.
If operational work has already started within the first 24 hours, PEC Boat & RV Storage may deduct reasonable costs before issuing any refund.
3. Cancellations Before Pickup, Drop-Off, or Intake
After the initial 24-hour period, cancellation requests made before pickup, drop-off, or intake may be partially refundable at PEC Boat & RV Storage’s discretion.
Any partial refund may account for reserved storage space, administrative processing, payment processing costs, scheduling work, staff time, customer communication, seasonal capacity planning, and any other work already completed.
PEC Boat & RV Storage is a seasonal storage business with limited intake capacity. When a reservation is paid, storage space and operational capacity may be held for that customer.
4. Cancellations After Pickup, Drop-Off, Intake, or Storage
Once a boat, RV, vehicle, trailer, ATV, side-by-side, motorcycle, Seadoo, powersports unit, or other accepted unit has been picked up, dropped off, checked in, inspected, photographed, serviced, stored, or otherwise processed, the seasonal storage reservation is non-refundable.
This includes situations where the customer later sells the unit, no longer needs storage, changes plans, moves, purchases different storage, or chooses not to use the full storage season.
Seasonal storage pricing is based on reserved space, intake handling, operational planning, and seasonal capacity, not only the number of days a unit remains in storage.
5. Service Work, Winterization, Shrink Wrap, and Materials
Optional service work, included service work, winterization, oil and filter service, shrink wrap, battery disconnect, trailer checks, tire pressure checks, spring preparation, and related labour are non-refundable once work has started.
Materials, parts, supplies, shrink wrap, fluids, filters, and other service-related items are non-refundable once ordered, prepared, opened, installed, used, or allocated to a customer’s unit.
PEC Boat & RV Storage may decline or pause service work if a unit is unsafe, inaccessible, incorrectly represented, mechanically unsuitable, missing required access, or requires work beyond the selected package.
6. Failed Pickup or Inaccessible Unit
If PEC Boat & RV Storage arrives for a scheduled pickup and the unit is not accessible, not ready, blocked in, has a dead battery, has unsafe tires, cannot be moved, cannot be connected safely, cannot be accessed, or the customer is unavailable when required, the pickup may be marked as failed.
A failed pickup may require rescheduling and may result in additional fees depending on travel time, staff time, scheduling impact, weather, distance, and the circumstances of the failed appointment.
Failed pickup fees, travel-related charges, rescheduling fees, and administrative fees are generally non-refundable.
7. Promotions, Discounts, and Quote Expiry
PEC Boat & RV Storage may offer promotional pricing, including Early Bird pricing or seasonal discounts.
Promotional pricing is valid only during the stated promotion period. Quotes using promotional pricing may expire when the promotion ends.
If a customer does not complete payment before the promotion expiry date, PEC Boat & RV Storage may require the quote to be refreshed using the current available pricing.
Discounts, promotional prices, expired offers, coupon-style pricing, or previous quote amounts cannot be guaranteed after the promotion period ends.
8. Refund Method and Timing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible.
Refund processing timelines may depend on the payment provider, card network, bank, or customer’s card issuer. PEC Boat & RV Storage cannot control bank or card issuer processing times after a refund has been issued.
Payment processing fees, administrative costs, or other non-recoverable costs may be deducted where permitted and where applicable.
10. Disputes and Chargebacks
If you believe there is an issue with your payment, reservation, invoice, service, pickup, drop-off, storage, or refund eligibility, please contact PEC Boat & RV Storage first so we can review the issue and attempt to resolve it.

Filing a payment dispute or chargeback without contacting PEC Boat & RV Storage may delay resolution and may require us to provide checkout records, invoice records, customer communications, intake records, service records, and policy acceptance records to the payment processor.
