Terms of Service

1. Services Provided

PEC Boat & RV Storage provides seasonal storage and related services for boats, RVs, travel trailers, vehicles, trailers, ATVs, side-by-sides, motorcycles, Seadoos, powersports units, and other accepted units.

Available services may include:

• Indoor storage
• Outdoor storage
• Pickup service where included or selected
• Drop-off intake
• Spring return or delivery where included
• Photo-documented intake
• Winterization
• Oil and filter service
• Shrink wrap
• Battery disconnect
• Trailer bearing grease check where applicable
• Tire pressure check
• Spring rinse or basic return preparation where included

The exact services included depend on the package selected during the quote or checkout process.

2. Reservations and Payment

Reservations are confirmed only after successful payment.

All prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes are added at checkout.

PEC Boat & RV Storage may offer promotional pricing from time to time. Promotional pricing is valid only during the stated promotion period. Quotes using promotional pricing may expire when the promotion ends.

Payment confirms your reservation for the selected storage package but does not guarantee access to every optional service unless that service is included in your selected package or purchased as an add-on.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information during the quote, reservation, pickup, drop-off, and intake process.

This includes, where applicable:

• Correct vehicle or unit type
• Year, make, and model
• Approximate length or size category
• Trailer information
• Engine or service details
• Contact information
• Pickup or drop-off availability
• Access instructions
• Any known mechanical, battery, steering, tire, trailer, brake, or safety issues

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their unit is accessible, movable, and safe to handle at the scheduled pickup or drop-off time.

PEC Boat & RV Storage may refuse, reschedule, or cancel pickup or intake if a unit is unsafe, inaccessible, blocked, not movable, incorrectly represented, or not suitable for the selected service.

4. Insurance Requirement

Customers must maintain active insurance coverage for their boat, RV, vehicle, trailer, powersports unit, motorcycle, Seadoo, or other stored unit during the storage season.

PEC Boat & RV Storage does not provide customer vehicle insurance, marine insurance, RV insurance, storage insurance, or contents insurance.

By completing a reservation, the customer confirms that their unit is insured during storage.

5. Pickup, Drop-Off, and Intake

Pickup availability depends on location, scheduling capacity, weather, road access, customer readiness, and the selected package.

For packages that include pickup, PEC Boat & RV Storage will coordinate pickup scheduling during the applicable seasonal intake window.

For drop-off storage, the customer is responsible for bringing the unit to the assigned PEC location at the confirmed appointment time.

All units may be subject to intake review, photo documentation, condition notes, size verification, and service verification.

If the actual unit size, type, or service requirements differ from the information submitted during checkout, pricing may be adjusted before service or storage is completed.

6. Failed Pickup or Inaccessible Unit

If PEC Boat & RV Storage arrives for a scheduled pickup and the unit is not accessible, not ready, blocked in, has a dead battery, has unsafe tires, cannot be moved, cannot be connected safely, or the customer is unavailable when required, the pickup may be marked as failed.

A failed pickup may require rescheduling and may result in additional fees depending on travel time, staff time, scheduling impact, and the circumstances of the failed appointment.

PEC Boat & RV Storage is not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate customer information, inaccessible units, weather, road conditions, unsafe equipment, or customer unavailability.

7. Storage Locations and Access

PEC Boat & RV Storage operates storage services in Prince Edward County, including Carrying Place and Demorestville.

Storage location assignment depends on the selected package, storage type, unit type, availability, and operational requirements.

For security and operational reasons, public access to storage areas may be limited or restricted. Customers may not access stored units without prior approval and a confirmed appointment.

8. Service Work

Service work may include winterization, oil and filter service, shrink wrap, battery disconnect, trailer bearing grease check, tire pressure check, spring preparation, or other selected services.

Service availability depends on the unit type, package selected, customer-provided information, weather, access, parts, materials, and staff capacity.

PEC Boat & RV Storage may decline or pause service work if the unit is unsafe, mechanically unsuitable, missing required access, incorrectly represented, or requires work beyond the selected service.

PEC Boat & RV Storage is not responsible for pre-existing mechanical issues, hidden damage, improper prior maintenance, unknown freeze damage, fuel issues, battery failure, trailer issues, or problems unrelated to the specific service purchased.

9. Personal Items and Contents

Customers are responsible for removing valuables, personal belongings, electronics, tools, safety equipment, removable accessories, food, perishables, alcohol, cash, documents, and other contents before pickup, drop-off, or storage.

PEC Boat & RV Storage is not responsible for personal items left inside any boat, RV, vehicle, trailer, powersports unit, motorcycle, Seadoo, or other stored unit.

10. Condition, Damage, and Documentation

PEC Boat & RV Storage may take photos, notes, and records during intake, storage, service, and return.

Photo-documented intake is intended to record visible condition at the time of intake. It does not guarantee identification of every scratch, mark, defect, hidden issue, mechanical issue, water intrusion issue, electrical issue, or pre-existing condition.

Customers should notify PEC Boat & RV Storage of any known condition issues before pickup, drop-off, or service.

11. Spring Return

Spring return or delivery is provided where included in the selected package.

Return scheduling depends on weather, site conditions, road access, customer availability, unit readiness, and operational capacity.

PEC Boat & RV Storage will coordinate spring return timing with customers before the return season where applicable.

12. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds, cancellations, and reservation changes are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

By completing checkout, the customer agrees to the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

13. Privacy and Communications

Customer information is handled according to the Privacy Policy.

PEC Boat & RV Storage may contact customers by email, phone, or text message for operational purposes related to quotes, reservations, pickup scheduling, drop-off appointments, reminders, intake, service, storage status, payment, invoices, and spring return.

SMS communications are optional where consent is requested. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. Customers may reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help where supported.

14. Pricing Errors and Corrections

PEC Boat & RV Storage makes reasonable efforts to display accurate pricing and package details.

If a quote, checkout total, package description, promotion, or service selection contains an obvious error, incorrect unit classification, incorrect size selection, incorrect service inclusion, or technical issue, PEC Boat & RV Storage may correct the error before completing the reservation, service, or storage.

15. Limitation of Liability

PEC Boat & RV Storage is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of use, lost profits, lost season, loss of enjoyment, loss of business, or inconvenience.

PEC Boat & RV Storage is not responsible for damage or delay caused by weather, fire, flood, theft, vandalism, pests, rodents, wildlife, road conditions, acts of God, mechanical failure, pre-existing damage, hidden defects, customer-provided misinformation, unsafe equipment, or circumstances outside reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where prohibited by applicable law.

16. Changes to Services or Terms

PEC Boat & RV Storage may update services, pricing, availability, policies, and these Terms of Service from time to time.

The version posted on this website at the time of reservation applies to that reservation unless otherwise required by law.
